St. Etheldreda

Over to the cathedral today for an Etheldreda service (the 1350th anniversary of the founding of the cathedral - originally a double monastery). A banner had been placed in the octagon which was made in 1910 featuring her. For those who don't know the story of Etheldreda read here. I visited the stone marking her shrine in the Presbytery, and was intending to take some pictures with the organist but he got there before I arrived. A mixed day, and a late prep, but ultimately productive.
