7.45 a.m.

The swan family on early walk about causing traffic chaos. These two chaps had got them across the road putting seed down. Around mid-day they were back and two young people were having great trouble as the one swan really wanted to cross the road. Young chap had seed leading then two ladies at the rear with a small sheet endeavouring to stop the last swan from keeping back. It took a long time, eventually the back swan lay down on the grass on its own for a very long time, we had to give up watching.
It has been noisy and draughty with window fitters but three bedroom ones finished, one lounge one needs finishing off detail inside which will get done next week when the landing window is fitted. Rest of the day spent getting the bits cleared but doing the whole house at once I was a tad shattered. I normally pace myself with cleaning.
