Birthday treat

This weekend we are away to see a concert that I got tickets to for my birthday. We travelled down the East Coast and stopped at Seaham for lunch. This statue is by the war memorial and is very moving Tommy
The weather turned wetter and wetter through the day and by the time we got to Scarborough was fairly constant. Managed to get a walk out ( wrapped up with hoods up) and extra is on our way back to the air b n b which is well equipped and handy.
