Peaceful Saturday evening

We have had a productive day. Quotes from removal companies this morning and then bulliblips drove us to Royal Preston and after 4 days on emergency operating list, Dad/Grandad is now having the needed surgery. He is more communicative and we are heartened by his spirit.

My eldest is flying in from Zurich early tomorrow, so julesblip & I have been divvying up 8 am service responsibilities. Dinner is nearly ready. Dad/Grandad very much in our thoughts and prayers, bless him.
