Cousin Mike

Eric and I drove up to The Dalles to the funeral for my cousin Mike who suffered from cancer for a long time. I had mixed feelings about going, still reeling from a long trip filled with deep emotions, but I'm glad we went. It was small and good to see other cousins. Mike's ashes are buried next to his daughter's grave. That's his sister, Penny, brushing off her niece's headstone.
