Wendy Rose

We had brunch with Cyndy and Don (she's my old friend Jim's sister) at Beaches in Vancouver. A really nice time sitting outside in fine weather with a great view of Portland and Forest Park. Nearby, along a walking path, is this sculpture that "represents Wendy the Welder, a sister of Rosie the Riveter who worked at the Kaiser Shipyards in Vancouver during WWII."
