Signs of Spring

There was no rain today so I did quite a lot more gardening. Once the weeds had gone  I was pleased to see some bulbs emerging and little flowers appearing. It is the first day of the second month of winter, so a long way to go yet. It is ,however, nice to see the little things that signal the future arrival of another season.
