The Nut Tree

Annie's step-mum is here to stay for a night and we went out for a lunch to celebrate her recent birthday. The fabulous Nut Tree Inn at Murcott, Oxfordshire was our chosen destination. Annie and Anne both opted for the seven course taster menu. I (Chris) stuck with single selections for starter, main and dessert. We've been before and food and service are just superb, a real treat. Amazingly we sat outside for the whole meal, there was sun and everything!

On the way back we spotted some beautifully lit trees and after a u-turn and using the only obvious stopping point, a few blip possibles were snapped, the choice of which is today's shot.

The sun has made Annie's face look like a tomato, funny!!
