I couldn’t resist it while the digger man was away.
They’ve been digging the foundations for the extension. New building regulations say they have to dig 4 feet deep!
It’s all muddy outside the back door so Bella can’t go in and out like she usually does and she’s sulking. 

Talking of digging.
I feel so sorry for Melanie, she’s only been in her new flat for a month and the drains are completely blocked. She can’t use her bathroom, sewage is coming up into the toilet and bath. After she moved in the neighbours told her that it has been a regular problem in her flat. The previous owner knew this but never said. She’s already had to pay £400 to a drain company to investigate from the bathroom and they couldn’t find anything there so they are going to have to dig up her kitchen floor. She is distraught. 
Luckily her neighbours are really lovely and told her to use their shower and toilet whenever she needs to.  It’s going to cost her a fortune. 
Even a house survey wouldn’t have picked that up. We’re hoping she can get the house insurance to pay. 

Anyway, we’re going to find a film to watch.
