Hidden church

The tiny church in Little Bookham is hidden away down a track. It is known to date from before the C12 but the history books don’t give much information. It doesn’t even have a dedication. But it is well supported, has a good congregation. The yew tree is said to be more than 700 years old.
I was on my way to the garden centre to buy a few plants to fill in some gaps. Then I had to plant them, which wasn’t easy as my hip was painful today. I was pleased with the effect, they have put a bit of colour back in the garden now the roses have finished. A future blip I hope.
