A snail and a thistle

I had a walk this morning where I came across the little snail in my main picture.  There were several different thistles but I liked this one (in extras) amongst the grasses.

This afternoon Mark and I went to Dobbies in Dalkeith to look at the summer houses (ours is gradually disintegrating).  We ended up buying a garden chair to replace the one in our garden (which is also falling apart) when we got back to Peebles
