Summer sun

We were in Bo’ness this afternoon to see the new animated Spider-Man film at our favourite cinema, the Hippodrome Cinema (where we see the silent film festival in March). 

Even though it is 26 miles from us and we have many closer cinemas, we occasionally like to show support to the town and our favourite cinema. The cinema is just one screen and reminds me of when I went to our local Toledo cinema in Glasgow as a kid. There ain’t nothing multiplex about the Hippodrome. 

As for the film, it was disappointing, far too long and no proper ending … to be continued apparently.

Today’s blip is of one of the many banners across the road announcing that summer is here. The down is festooned with bunting also, which is put up for  the annual Gala, which took place yesterday.
