Arizona Sunset

I have fallen behind. Sorry. I have the pictures, it's just been hard to motivate myself to get onto the computer. Will try to post the last couple from June asap.

I managed to submit entries to three upcoming exhibits at the Tubac Center of the Arts.  I got the last of 75 available spots for the members exhibit. The other two are juried so I have to be accepted.  My goal is to simply qualify for the exhibits.

I didn't go far for the sunset. I drove towards the copper mine employee entrance for a more clear shot than from my yard. The saguaro was an awesome bonus.

In other news..I've been watching a lot more movies and episodes of Endeavour. They kill more time. The good news is that it's hotter than Hades so thank goodness I have nowhere to go  :-))

One night a police officer was staking out a particularly rowdy bar for possible DUI violations. At closing time, he saw a fellow stumble out of the bar, trip on the curb and try his keys on five different cars before he found his. The man sat in the front seat fumbling around with his keys for several minutes.
Meanwhile, all the other patrons left the bar and drove off. Finally he started his engine and began to pull away.

As soon as he pulled onto the street, the officer stopped the fellow, read him his rights and administered the breathalyzer test to determine his blood-alcohol content.
The results showed a reading of 0.0.
The puzzled officer demanded to know how that could be. The driver replied, “Tonight I’m the designated decoy.”
