Water Lily Planting.

Today was market day, so Gregoire and i got down to Baddeck about 8.30 am.   Coffee in hand, we got the booth organised by 9.15am...pretty good!
Sales were good and it was very busy - this being Canada Day!  The usual nap took place afterwards :)

But the highlight was getting the water lilies planted!   Terry has been so excited to plant the water lilies that he sprouted from seed a few months ago.   So with the help our very new wwoofer Anne (who only arrived late last night!) and in the rain, the waterlilies were planted!!! One of the issues with planting them into the mud is that it is very easy to get stuck...see extra as Anne tries to pull her foot free!!!

so exciting and now the wait.   The bugs were horrendous but i had on my new bug shirt and Anne had on one also!!   Gregoire didn't put his on and all i could see was his flailing arms as he batted them away....and Terry...well he rarely wears a bug shirt and seems to be kinda immune to being bothered by them!
