One Thousand Today!

When I first posted onto Blip, back in September 2010, my aim was to see if I could post one photograph a day, for a year. When I reached my 365th blip, I had enjoyed it so much that I decided to continue. I didn't know how long it would last, and still don't. But today I feel really pleased to have reached 1000!

I enjoy thinking about what I'm going to blip each day and I know I view my everyday surroundings differently. No longer do I walk around with 'blinkers' on, but instead am constantly 'looking'! I love the fact that it has turned into a photographic diary of my life. I think friends who I don't see very often (and indeed those that I do see often) enjoy them, and often comment, especially if the photo has Amy and James in it.

So thank you to everyone who stops by to look at my blips, even if it is only occasionally. I try to be as creative as possible, but I do have to admit it is difficult some days, when the weather is bad and all I've done is the school run and housework!

Today wasn't one of those days... it's been sunny and warm and I've been out and about. But I decided to create my own image for today, and as I have just learnt how to crochet, it seemed fitting to crochet my '1000'.
