Great Blue Heron-drenched and disappointed!

Crossing the pedestrian bridge in the park this morning, I overheard a grandmother say to her little granddaughter, "Look at the big bird!" I looked too, and for the next 13 minutes I blipped away as this heron stalked his lunch. By the end of his (unsuccessful) quest, quite a crowd had gathered. We were all fascinated, although disappointed.
