Kinder Eggs
Day 151
Hadn't seen the boy for 7 whole nights so what better way to have some proper time than to go off the grid in the camper up the Peak District.
Ended up in a back to basic farm campsite in Edale at the foot of Kinder Scout. Absolutely stunning spot. After battling with the awning in the wind and a massive stove cooked meal, we had a little venture round the farm and the surrounding areas. Took some fantastic photos but I like this one best just cos I can use the pun in the title!
Some facts for y'all
Kinder Scout is a high windswept upland gritstone plateau, most of which stands at around 600 metres above sea level. The highest point is Crowden Head, which at 631 metres is also the highest point in the Peak District. This is the largest and grandest of the great upland areas of the so-called 'Dark Peak' and it forms an imposing and fascinating area.
