Doggie Sitting

Happy July ! We were back up to Washington from Thursday night til this morning for Rs doctor appointment and to see our friend who is in a nursing home rehab. We are now dog sitting for our sons family who are in Bellingham for some cousin time;)
Our friend had so many medical issues to deal with from her full face front fall that occurred after so many issues from her chemo this part year . It’s overwhelming the complications she is dealing with . Unfortunately most nursing home rehabs are understaffed … and the staff there is underpaid so getting attentive care doesn’t really happen —- one must be an advocate for their loved one that is in these places . I worry about her and can only hold on to hope that she’ll slowly regain some more strength …pretty sad that our rehabs are not too notch facilities that you can put your trust into —/ but they are not .
Dog sitting will be a welcome diversion !
