Margot is one

Today we hosted Margot's first birthday which falls on 4 July. Again we over catered but everyone had a good time, with the possible exception of Margot. She spent a lot of it asleep with her mum, and after they got up she seemed overwhelmed, couldn't understand what the fuss was about. 

Margot is of course too young to understand the birthday concept. Today was for family and friends, feeling happy for Margot and her parents for having gone so well with it in the past year.
