Scoot & Skate
Today the little ones and I decided to set out without the aid of a buggy and headed out with the scooters and the skateboard. Before we went out there an argreement was made by all parties that going out without the buggy meant that we all had to make our way on wheels or walking and that there would be no carrying. I packed an extra big bag scooter sized bag just in case though.
On the way out it was lots of fun too and we bumped into some friends and so spent lunch and the early afternoon stomping rockets in the sunshine. We had grab plans to wheel on to the park but it was soon apparent that Boy did not have the energy to make it that far. In fact he only had enough scoot to get a couple of hundred metres and that was with a number of stops and plenty of dog avoidance.
So we abandoned the park plans and headed for home with the promised prize of a sweet from the shops. The extra big bag came out and the scooters were packed as Boy was loaded on shoulders. Girl was amazing and walked all the way home as Boy nodded off drooling into my ear.
Once home and a wet cloth to wipe Boy to awake we were off to collect the sweet prize and then to set on the sofa. Who needs a buggy when you have a big bag and broad shoulders, oh and a slobbery ear.
