The day started off quite well; got lots done and even managed a quick visit to Dad on his penultimate day in the care home. Shopping and then back to Dads house to get the sofa's moved and the freezer brought out of the garage and into the kitchen. Our tight schedule meant we needed to get back home and bathed and ready to go out for the evening.

We got home and then everything went downhill. Mr S had a bad headache migraine and the babysitters cancelled. He takes himself off to bed and I'm left with the girls. So we played lots of games. It wasn't as fun as the 40th birthday party that I should be at, but the girls were happy.
