The Wild Rover

This and another three old cars have been rusting away in Cairneyhill for several years. They mark the start of a nice walk to the neighbouring village of Crossford. I was returning to Carnock through fields of oat and wheat then up through the Dean Plantation which was much less muddy than usual. Despite a showery week it’s been warm and dry for most of the early summer.
