Sweet

One of my greatest summer pleasures is going out to pick sweet peas. I’ve grown a few different varieties this year including Beaujolais, Cupani, Charlie’s Angels, Perfume Delight and Painted Lady and they are all beautiful. Churchill (a red one) hasn’t flowered yet and Swan Lake perished in the cold May weather. I always have a jar of them on the kitchen table.

It’s been quite a chilly windy day with a fresh breeze and showers. I managed to get a good walk in before the rain started.
