Still Smiling

Had a break from decorating today. 

Enjoyed an urban orienteering event in Mirfield West Yorkshire. The experienced planner provided plenty of route choice and some longer legs. Good to meet up with friends who I haven’t see in a while.

Jill (pictured) insisted I started ahead of her and gave me a ew minutes grace before beginning her course. The finish was uphill and despite that she was still smiling as we cheered her on. Ian (also pictured) is a stalwart of the organising club and although he no longer competes is always on hand to help.

The top Jill is wearing is from France where a group of us went a few years ago.

All in all a grand day out.
