Deadline

Friday but with many of the team on holiday, I only had two one-to-ones, both provided good discussions.  And I think everyone is happy in their new roles now.

Had a frustrating chat with the CEO.

Spent the afternoon and evening helping my young padawan complete an award, as the deadline was today.  We were working till 9pm.  I sent her a book voucher.  It seems a very small thank you for the hard work she has done, especially as today was her Masters day.

My weekend plans have gone up in smoke again.  Never mind, we go again.

Today I am thankful for:

1.  My young padawan, she's a diamond!
2.  Positive one-to-ones
