Scottish Game Fair
We were very pleased that we had made the decision to get up early as we joined the queue of cars at Scone Palace half and hour before opening time; it was obviously a very popular event but also very well organised. There was so much to look at, taste and be tempted by. Bertie had never seen so many dogs of all shapes and sizes and considering he lives rather an insular life, he behaved really well (extra). I was tempted to purchase something for the garden which I will reveal in a future blip, once it has been delivered. My blip is a scene from the main arena where this lady demonstrated how hounds are controlled in a hunt, using just her horn which she used occasionally when a change of direction was needed. These fifteen hounds followed her every movement while also using their own intuition. It was very interesting to see their relationship in action.
