Ayrshire coast

We were very lucky to get a nice beach walk in this morning on the Ayrshire coast near West Kilbride. It rained a bit on the way there and very heavily on the way back, but while we walked on the beach the weather was good. It is a lovely sandy beach for a walk and a beach-comb, some nice shells to collect, some nasty plastic items to take to a bin. I was delighted to see a six-spot burnet moth in the grassy dunes.
