Mrs F And I finally managed to visit the Doon Valley Railway at Dunaskin.  A small but perfectly formed heritage railway in a lovely rural setting.  The staff were all very friendly and the weather was kind to us.

Unfortunately they are having some issues at the moment as some of the buildings are only leased by them and the owner is in the process of selling them.  They are trying to raise enough money to purchase the buildings before the end of this month.

After our visit we hope they can find a solution to move forward as we would certainly visit again.
