Box files

At last a lie in without an alarm.. as always I was awake too early!!  Still it was good to get going and have a longer day. A quiet morning mooching with crosswords and coffee.. just what the doctor ordered then on to the job in hand.. emptying the pre-painter stuffed office cupboard in order to reduce the bulk in there and then start repopulating it with the stuff we do want in there instead.  We didn't get the cupboard painted as we think we need to rearrange the shelves and single lightbulb lighting .. at which point we will undertake the painting ourselves. The result of that sorting was a lot of shredding.. what a boring job and one that can turn a box file of storage into a huge bin liner full of shreddings.. still it will give us a way to light the bonfire when that comes around.  More to do but most of it may not need shredding .. we have cleared out the stuff below waist height and the very top shelf.. so that leaves two more shelves and actually we did achieve quite a lot.  The curtains are back up and the filing cabinet is back in position.. it needs to be gone through also.
