Canalisation not working

The part of the Gersprenz in my entry today is quite straight. And frequently authority commands to clear the water from anything obstructing the flow.
But nature, whether wind, water, nutrias or beavers, has another opinion about what the river should look like.
In this case the flow is partly obstructed by several trees and branches.
Beavers have dug big holes in the shores and the strength of the water in the rare occasions of high water did the rest.
