Remember these?

Went to visit one of our friends today, she is totally involved with Dolls and Dollshouses, so much that she has converted an old Transformer house into a Toy Museum. It is full to the ceiling with Dolls Houses of all ages and sizes, toys and Dolls from tiny to life size. Saw this and remembered playing Shops as a very small child (long time ago now!) Learnt to add up and subtract, and in Pounds , shillings and pence, not simple Decimal . Weigh goods and read boxes.Lots of the items we bought and sold we had never seen in real life. It was fun too, deciding what to buy with the play money. When I played we had to use Coupons from "Ration Books" as well. Kids have it easy today!!
