At last

I had a good nights sleep. It’s much colder than it has been. Mike actually put the heating on for an hour ! As always the weather changes as soon as the kids break up and we had showers during the day with sunshine inbetween.
I filled up the bird feeders last night, not many birds around at first but then they started to arrive. So pleased that the baby woodpeckers paid a visit. There are two and the Dad has had to work extra hard as sadly the Mum crashed into a window a few weeks ago and I found her dead on the decking.
The oil was delivered and it sounds like we need a new tank so with the boiler getting quite old too we’ve started looking at air source heat pump system instead, does any one have one ?
