Disappointed

On Saturday I was away winning a bowling cup and Fiona was change ringing at a diocesan event so our daughter went to the local church fete by herself, it’s a quite a thing for someone who has been ill for 16 years but is feeling a bit better of late.
She saw this prize on the tombola stall and knows Fiona loves this range of soaps, I regularly buy them for her each Christmas. Lo and behold she won it and was delighted to give it to her. Much later, looking at the rather worn looking box I opened it to find a used bar of Cussons Imperial Leather hand soap. I assume someone gave this as a prize to the organisers. I haven’t told Ali about it and Fiona was as astonished as I was about it.
