Baling out...

I had a terrific time watching the baling today. I went to neighbour Lorenzo's farm about 20 minutes walk away, having heard the first clanking early this morning and knowing I would be able to watch the work in progress if I ventured out.  Lorenzo and his brother and their two sons farm most of the land around these hills, with wheat, barley and chick peas,  as well as keeping large goat herds. 

It has been a glorious day and the fields look spectacular.
