Cave dale

We drove from Manchester to the Peak District in the rain. It was wet and blustery but there was a slot when the weather was a little kinder, so we went up Cave Dale. The weather deteriorated and we were buffeted by the wind and squally showers. The descent back to the village was a little precarious as the rocks and grass were quite slippy but we made it down without serious mishap.
