Oh, for Pete's sake, would you leave me alone!

Slim pickin's today... Windy! It's been raining on and off. And did I say it's WINDY? Outdoor photography was a bit challenging. I ventured out between the rainy moments and waited patiently for a brief break in the wind. Eventually I found this Northern Crab Spider on one of my new flowers. His body is only 1/8 of an inch long, but I though I'd give it a try. (The book says that they lie in wait on flowers to ambush pollen collecting bugs.) But today, instead of a snack... he got me poking at him to pose. Every time I touched him he'd raise a few legs for a while. Blip! Zoom in... it really irritates him. ;)

It looks like the rain is moving in for the evening, so the crabby spider it is.
