Evacuated!!!

We were evacuated while we were at our Granddaughter's wedding in Penticton this past weekend.  


It certainly took a bit of time to process what was going as our neighbours knew we were out of town and kept us up to date.


The evacuation only lasted about 10 hours as the crews jumped on this fire quickly and hard...
They said that because they had been doing fire mitigation by cleaning out old dead trees and branches that the fire didn't have that much fuel to burn.
