An 800 year old Oak .

Another walk in Bradgate park where Lady Jane Grey once lived , this time we perused through an area of ancient trees, mainly oaks, that were saplings over 800 years ago . What an astonishing thought!

We are now in Chesterfield, the children have provided their usual transfusion of joy and are now sleeping soundly . Their parents are having an evening stroll whilst we listen to the baby monitors .
