Vaccine

On my way to cubicle 5!  I knew I shouldn't have the normal shingles vaccine but I was impressed that the NHS knew also and now have supplies of a new vaccine I can have.  They were very efficient and pleasant at the Eastgate Centre today. I took this bit of information from Sarcoidosis UK with me, just in case!


If you have a weakened immune system a GP or practice nurse will assess which vaccine is suitable for you. Discuss any health concerns with the GP or practice nurse before you have the vaccine. Zostavax is not suitable for people who have a weakened immune system due to a condition, treatment or medicine.
