Broughty Ferry beach

Holidaymakers on Broughty Ferry beach today. Despite a chill wind there were lots families enjoying a day at the seaside. Children happily playing on the sand but too cold for swimming. I took this photo from top of the nearby Broughty Ferry Castle. Well worth a visit to the Castle as it has very good local history displays and an excellent collection of Scottish Victorian paintings.
