Incoming

We awoke early and out down the roof top tent thunderstorms and wind were forecasted for later in the day. We headed to the grazing at swamp lake to check the cattle there I walked the dogs whilst husband checked on them. The fields were alive with grasshoppers. The curlews have healthy chick's there too which is good. 

In the afternoon we had a thunderstorm pass through plenty of noise and small hail and heavy rain. I'm glad the hail stayed small for my garden! The hummingbirds just don't care about rain and thunderstorms they were out feeding all the while the storm went on. 

Also Happy Canada Day! This time last year we were camping in the wilds with a burst airbed waiting to get into this place!
