To see what they could do

Awoken this morning by the arrival of Next Door's Scaffolders at 7 am.   Bounced out of bed because I thought there had been an accident.   No - it was just one of the scaffolders "unloading" the van.  He stood, hand into the van, pick up an angle, throw it behind him.

I quickly piulled on  my clohes and went out and moved the car.   I seriously think he would have thrown it towards the car when he finished the space he was in.

Back to work.  257 Emails.

Deleted maybe 3/4.   Worked through the rest. Made a to do list of 18 things which  weren't immediately do able.

Answered questions, Was not surprised when I was told that the Apprentice had left.  He obviously wasn't work material.   Sad to say.

Came home and discovered that the scaffolders who told us that they would have to extend a little into our Drive had put it all over the drive.   A pile of wood which had been stacked up - had been kicked to one side.

The scaffolding apparently needs to be in the garden as well.  We have a big hole where they have weighted it in our grass.   They "moved" baskets from the shelf, and threw them on top of seedlings we have growing.

I love my next-door neighbours they are lovely.   I don't want to fall out about it; it;'s not their fault the workmen are shoddy, unthinking, and rude.
I hate people being in my space.  This is going to be a trying week

Thank gawd, I have the allotment and these beautiful red currents to look at.  They are like little clumps of jewels
