Lull after the squalls

First day of Wimbledon = rain! The accompanying wind was unexpected after weeks of high pressure systems dominating. The late evening sun caught the hollyhocks that have been bent almost double by the recent squally conditions.

I spent the morning at Cheltenham Spa railway station on my monthly public facing voluntary role. Despite ongoing industrial action there were only a handful of cancellations. Many trains were arriving early. Cheltenham is a very busy railway station with only two platforms!
