Sunday Best

Yet another spectacular sunrise this morning - nature's putting on a wonderful display at the moment!

I was prepared this time, and we headed down to the port just before 7.30am.

72 photos later, and I got this stunning cloud pattern which formed after the red sky had disappeared.

There was one other photographer there, a chap who'd been there since 5am! So while Mario & his new friend were chin wagging, I got some of the best shots - Mario didn't get any of shots of this!

It's unusually warm this morning, and I wouldn't be surprised if we get a bit of snow, even just on the hills.
As I write this, it's 20 degrees celcius in Oamaru, which is about 40 min drive south of Timaru.

Strange weather indeed...
