An evening with Nicola Benedetti...

After a lovely meal at Dino's, I had a wonderful evening tonight at the Concert Hall in Glasgow, with elder son and his girlfriend at the RSNO 2012/13 season finale. The music was from William Walton's score for Laurence Olivier's wartime film of Shakespeare's Henry V, and it was superb. Canadian condutor, Peter Oundjian was joined by Nicola Benedetti, the RSNO, the RSNO choruses (senior and junior) and Scottish actor Callum MacAninch who was a very powerful narrator... a memorable night!
