Day 151 of 365 - The Georgian Townhouse!
Welcome to day 151 of 365 (Finished image after Editing)
The original photo was taken this morning in Little Park Street Coventry. The image is of One of the Three Georgian Townhouses that remain in the City Centre and One of Two that stand on Little Park Street (this one is now just called Number 7). The building dates back to about the 1730's and consists of three stories. The outside of the building is decorated with six fluted Corinthian pilaster columns. There are two further smaller pilaster columns either side of the main front door. The building is now used as an extension to the Bar (called The Castle) which has it's entrance next door to the left of this image.
The building is classed as Grade II* listed. It is number 21 on my list of 24 (Grade II*) Listed buildings in Coventry that I hope to photograph.
As always the shot was taken with my iPhone 5. The photo was taken using the camera App Mattebox for iPhone. The original image can be found here: Unedited original Image.
First of all I used the app PhotoToaster to straighten the photo and crop the image into a square. I then also used the same app to apply a few presets, such as the Warm filter, the Super Sharp FX, a Large dark vignette and the Antiqued texture. Next I used a new app called Mextures to apply some lighting and textures to the image. The Layers that I applied were, Vignette, Mulberry, Ford Screen, Leaker and the Sky Earth Overlay. Finally I used Distressed FX to add extra texture to the image using the Cole overlay and the Lade Texture.
