Busy as a

It doesn't look like it (thanks to the use of flash) but it is really dark and gloomy today and it had just started to rain when I took this shot of the bee busy on the lavender.

The garden needs the rain, as the soil is still very dry, but the weatherman seems confident that things should be getting brighter over the next few days, before rain returns at the Weekend.  While it won't please the gardener, for those of that like to be outside taking pictures of things that fly, some brightness is definitely going to be an improvement.
