Rocky

Unfortunately for me the roofers haven't started yet and although showers are forecast, only one brief one has fallen.  So I have dipped into my album and Blipped this bridge on the decent to Buttermere from Honister Pass.  It is taken from a large layby towards the summit and the mine (still working, but you can visit.)  the layby gives a great view up and down the pass.
It is a back Blip, of course and more pleasant than a fly on the outside of my lounge window.  Thank goodness they weren't, well, enough said!  Although a back Blip it does show the amount of water a few weeks ago and in places it is lower still.  Any downpour will change the character of this stream.
Maybe the roofers will start tomorrow.  Next week new UPVC windows and cladding is being fitted and the roofers wanted to have the roof in place before the windows were fitted!  You might remember part of the cladding blew off and my son managed a temporary repair.
