Shopping expedition

Today was my (contracted) quinquennial visit to Cheshire Oaks the UK's first Shopping Village (145 shops and counting) just outside Ellesmere Port, Cheshire. 

My next visit will be due in 2028, fortunately I'll be living in Scotland by then (phew)!

I really have no idea why this out of town shopping complex is so popular, I find it expensive - but it must be me as it always seems busy. Many foreign tourists arrive here from other parts of the country. I also suspect the cruise ships that now dock at Holyhead on Anglesey are bringing people here.

I was never one of the 'in' crowd (thanks to a local Welsh deity)!
