Parade- July 4th, Pt. Roberts, WA.

In the USA, July 4th is celebrated with parades, music, food and fireworks. For Pt.Roberts the parade has struggled to get back to its pre-pandemic form, but they are trying. Before the pandemic they always had a drill team of some kind- the Vancouver Police Motorcycles, or the Shriners Mini Motorcycles, or the local ride-on lawn mower drill squad. This year, this one rider carried on that legacy. There afew clubs and organization in decorated vehicles, a few groups walking, but mostly it was collector vehicle. Later I will go and see ‘Elvis’, eat my first hot dog, a brat, in years, with corn on the cob, then go to the fireworks, if the wind dies down. Ye Haw! When in Rome…
